A time for some games at the Talent Show. Un tiempo con algunos juegos en la Hora de Talentos. Every year Millersville Mennonite Church has their weekend "church retreat". Most of the church members go and have some time of getting to know each other better, eating, playing and having much more fun with the family of Christ. This year we wanted to go for the whole weekend, but we could not! We worked on Friday and we had visitors from Honduras (Florencia) and Spain (Paola). We went on Saturday night and Sunday morning. It was so much fun! La Iglesia Menonita de Millerville tiene cada año por un fin de semana su retiro. La mayoria de los miembros de la iglesia asisten y tienen un buen tiempo compartiendo con otros, comiendo, jugando y mucho mas con la familia de Cristo Jesus. Este año Dean y yo queriamos ir por todo el fin de semana, pero no pudimos! Trabajamos el viernes y tuvimos huespedes de Honduras (Florencia) y España (Paola). Fuimos el Sabado en la noche y todo el domingo en la mañana. Fue muy divertido.

Fixing the Bathroom in the Basement-Arreglando el Baño del Sotano

Felixa wanted to surprise Dean giving a new color to the bathroom in the basement. It was a bit dark, but after the new color the bathroom looks lighter. Felixa quizo sorprender a Dean dandole un nuevo color al baño del sotano. Era un poco obscuro, pero ahora despues del nuevo color el baño se mira mas claro. BEFORE-ANTES AND AFTER....Y DESPUES....

The Kunkles at the Cabin-Los Kunkles en la Montañas

From June 13th 'till the 17th, Dean's parents, his brother and his family, and of course Dean and Felixa went along. Del 13 al 17, los padres de Dean, su hermano con su familia y por su puesto Dean y Felixa fueron. We had a good time with the kids (Dean's brother Ryan kids) Faith and Ryan Junior (Baba). That weekend was Father's day so Faith and Baba painted t-shirts for Grandpa. Pasamos un tiempo formidable con los chicos de Ryan, el hermano de Dean que son Faith y Ryan Junior (Baba). Ese fin de semana fue el dia del padre y los chicos pintaron unas camisetas para su abuelo.

Heike Geist visiting-visitando Lancaster

Heike Geist from Germany, who lives in Switzerland came to visit for a week. She was Felixa's boss in Bienenberg for the Get it! program. She came for vacation. Felixa went to pick her up at the airport and then they met Dean at a friend's house. We all went to eat some good Lancaster County ice cream. She wanted to see NY city, so we took her there. It was a little bit hot but it was nice to get inside to the stores just to cool down a bit. Heike Geist de Alemania, quien vive en Suiza vino a visitarnos por una semana. Ella fue jefe de Felixa en Bienenberg por el programa Get it!. Ella vino a pasar unas vacaciones. Felixa la recogio en el aeropuerto y despues ellos se reunieron con Dean en la casa de una amiga. Nosotros, todos juntos fuimos a disfrutar un rico elado tipo Condado de Lancaster. Ella queria ver la ciudad de Nueva York, asi que la llevamos. Estaba haciendo un poco de calor pero aprovechamos de lo bueno del aire acondicionado en las tiendas.We went to a Greek restaurant in Asturias. After a long walk, a good... excellent meal! Fuimos despues a comer a un restaurante griego en Asturias, la comunidad griega. Despues de una buena caminada... una excelente cena!
