At the beginning of winter, Dean and Felixa went to visit Paul and Nancy Witmer at their new apartment. They are living in an apartment next to their daughter's house. While we were visiting, they gave us a pair of orchids that they love to cultivate. Here are pictures of them now that they are blooming. Their blossom last over a 
month or more! Los primeros dias del invierno, Felixa y Dean fueron a visitar a Paul y Nancy Witmer a su nuevo apartament. Ellos viven en un
aparta- mento junto a la casa de su hija. Mientras Felixa y Dean los visitaban, Nancy les dio un par de orquideas que ellos mismos cultivan. Aqui algunas fotos de las orquideas que han estado floreando y que duran por casi un mes o sino mas. Disfrutenlas tanto como nosotros las disfrutamos.
This is a project that Felixa started on her spring break with not so muh luck. Later on, a friend of ours was comming to 
spend some time with us, so we needed to hurry up witht he project, but it wasn't until middle of May that we took seriously the project and finished it. Before Felixa started,
she spent sometime googleing how to fix and paint. We choose a light purple for the room (eventhough it looks light blue-and that's why we called it "the blue room"), a white ceiling, and some touch of green. It looks nice after all! Este proyecto de pintar el cuarto principal, comenzo cuando Felixa tuvo su vacaciones de primavera, pero no alcanzo hacer mucho. Tiempo despues, un amigo de nosotros nos comunico que venia a 
visitarnos y usamos esta excusa para agilizar el paso con el projecto, pero no fue hasta mediados de mayo que trabajamos en serio con este proyecto y gracias a Dios lo terminamos. Antes de que Felixa comenzara, ella paso algun tiempo en google
buscando "como reparar y pintar un cuarto". Escogimos el color lila para el cuarto (aunque se mira como un color azul pastel- y es por eso que lo llamamos el "cuarto azul"), escogimos blanco para el cielo-razo, y con algunes toques en verde. Se mira muy bien despues de todo! 
We love to have Dean's niece and nephew (Faith and Ryan jr.) at our home. This time there help in the kitchen making pizza with uncle Dean, 
and then in the garden. Kass, LaMar, and Trisha came on Sunday and also helped in the garden.
Nos encanta tener a nuestros sobrinos (Faith y Ryan) en nuestra casa. Esta ves, ellos ayudaron a Dean hacer pizza, y luego en el jardin. Kass, LaMar y Trisha nos visitaron el Domingo y tambien ayudaron en el jardin.
