A week I left to Honduras, my gall bladder was removed because developed stones. Deep inside of me I did not want that but the doctors were very persistant about me having complications back home IF I don't do it... in few words. I did have complications and big ones actually that I got scare that I would not be able to eat MY FOOD any more.
With Dean, we have been thinking in doing this liver cleansing diet way back. WHY I DID NOT READ THE BOOK BEFORE!!! It basicly guide you to clean your liver, as the book says! One of the sections it is about your gall bladder and HOW important is to your body. No wonder I never have stomach problems before.... I was actually proud of it (maybe that was my problem to begin with)
Honduran meals are mostly fried food. So by the 2nd week there my stoch inflated like a ballon and I was having cramps and diahrriah with some nauseas. It is intersting that when I asked the doctor what kind of diet should I keep after the operation, he said: "no diet, you should eat as you were eating before!".
Making this story short. I need my gall bladder back and I think I realized how much I needed specially when I read that this help tremendosly with your digestion and for other things. GOD did not creat things just to set them there to do nothing!...
Now, I am totally milk tolerant, not even cheese. Some meat, specially pork, one of my favorites. And to add to the list wheat... special in process food or bake things because it takes longer to digest so it quickly transfor to SUGAR and/or FAT! Creating in me a person close to develop diabetis (runs strongly in my parents-both of them) and cholesterol!

When I read that I could have clean my liver and flush my stons with a healthy treatment... I wanted to cry! It makes totally sense. For example, fish. I never have problem with fish-not tilapia or any one. But as soon I tasted the fried fish in Lago de Yojoa.... that afternoon I was unconfortable, with stomach ache and burping. I was feeling bad already but that did it. Next follow two days my stomach was bad so I decided to eat mostly fruit and vegetables till the rest of the week because the following Monday we were returning from Honduras.
Now... I am considering a indefined raw/vegitarian diet. If I want to eat cheese or any dairy product or meat or fried things I need to take a pill to help me.... AHHHHHhhhhhh, I miss my gall bladder!
